The first two books in this series are powerfully written and combine courage and honesty with a tribute to love and commitment. I can't wait to see the next book! These are tremendously helpful.

After reading Justine's memoir, it was so nice to read about how she found the strength to move forward and focus on the positive. Mike is truly being honored and remembered thanks to Justine's determination. This is a great example of how a person must choose his or her own actions carefully, knowing you can't control the actions of other.

So brave to relive one of the worst things a person can go through, and share it with the world. Even the dedication is enough to get me choked up and teary-eyed.

Death changes all of us in some way. This was an amazing story of the trials of a couple dealt a very painful, devastating illness. Justine takes us through everything from the moment they were told of Mike's Leukemia, to ultimately the last moments. This book is a true account of what it's like to be given a death sentence for such a horrible disease as told through Justine's eyes. Justine does an excellent job of painting the journey full of pain, heartache, confusion, and ultimately love.

This story sits close to my heart as my mother also had Leukemia. I became a primary care giver of her during the last two years of her life. Much of what Justine describes in this book, I have experienced in some form in my own life. I recommend this book even if you haven't been through anything like this in your life, but especially if you have because it is just a beautiful, heartfelt book.

Thank you Justine for sharing your story and I hope by telling yours, it will help someone maybe dealing with very thing in their life

When people tell/write stories or make movies, about cancer, they always suggest that this horrible disease brings families, spouses, sisters & brothers closer to each other. JC Cerrigone writes the truth of how this disease affected her life, her husband's & their families. I recommend this book to anyone who is or knows someone who is struggling with cancer.

This was a touching and emotional experience that I can't even imagine how hard it must of been for the author to share with everyone. Most may never have to deal with anything close to this in their lives but reading this you will feel that you have. The author brings you in to where you feel as if you had took the journey with her. When you finish, you will be left wondering about what took place after the fact. I for one am honored the author shared such an emotional insight into her personal life. Thanks for sharing your experience JC.

"Braided Desire is an angst filled and emotionally charged story. Both Toni and Cole have suffered a great deal of loss and they both are wary to love again. Josh feels so deeply for both that he is absolutely floored when Toni leaves. Szot creates an emotional riptide with Braided Desire." - Night Owl Reviews Read Review

JC Szot is one of the more talented up and coming MM writers in the field. She never disappoints her readers and her novels are sexy and creative. I think Extra Credit is one of her best and a must read for every gay romance fan. Chad and Alex are delicious characters, likable and their building relationship is hot.
JC's stories are sexy, smart and fast paced! If you haven't picked this one up yet, add it to your collection!

Behind The Iron Fist

This is a really lovely story which just happens to include an amazing romance. Drew is the kind of man whose heart way overpowers his muscles, yet he never comes across as weak or unmanly. Even his fumbling attempts at romance make him feel more honest and real. What I really like, and also think sets this story apart, is that Mia can step in and be the aggressor while maintaining her femininity and charm.
